SAJJAD INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (SIIT) is providing "One Year Diploma in Computer Application & Multilingual DTP at First Floor, G.K.Market, Kanta Toli Chowk, Ranchi-1, Jharkhand. The institute is recognised and approved by NCPUL, Ministry of HRD, Deptt. of Education, Govt. of India, New Delhi and DOEACC Society Chandigarh,Ministry of Information Technology & Communication Govt. of India. . The Centre is being run through a Committee of Management called the "Monitoring Committee" consisting of intellectuals and qualified persons from various academic fields and organisations at Ranchi. The names and addresses of the Committee Members are being given separately. Presently the institute is being run in three shifts each day in order to cover both the theory and practical classes and a part time morning shift. The total number of students enrolled on the basis of a competitive examination, is at present 56. The examination was conducted by DOEACC Society Chandigarh,Ministry of Information Technology & Communication Govt. of India. An amount of Rs.250/- p.m. was fixed as Tuition Fee. The fees collected from the students are to be kept as Corpus Fund as directed by NCPUL, which would be utilized to run the Institute when the Govt. would seize its support after four years.
