MANUU First Induction Meet At Markaz-E-Adab-O-Science, Ranchi


Markaz-E-Adab-O-Science, Ranchi, a newly activated Study Centre of MANUU organised its first induction meet on 6th August 2009 at MANUU Induction Hall, Tata Road, Kantatoli Chowk, Ranchi, in which more than 50 students attended.

The programme was attended by Mrs. Dr. Sara Nasreen ,MANUU Regional Director, Ranchi Regional Centre, Prof. Ahmad Sajjad, Head of the Institution, Engr. Tarique Sajjad, Co-ordinator, MANUU Study Centre(Code: 158) and Mr. Dr. Manzar Hussain, Dr. Imteyaz Ahmad, Dr. Farooque Azam & Jb. Abdul Moghni all newly appointed counsellors.

The Co-ordinator, Mr. Tarique Sajjad while welcoming all newly enrolled MANUU students briefly explained the importance of Open Distance Learning (ODL) System and informed the students regarding the counselling classes, assignments submission, examination form and Re-registration process. Dr. Sara Nasreen, RD MANUU also emphasised the significance of counselling classes and stressed the importance of distance learning education system specially among girls. Prof. Ahmad Sajjad in his presidential address briefly explained the changed scenario of Higher education in India specially brought by ODL System. He told the students that the establishment of MANUU Regional centre and study centres in Jharkhand is a boon for Urdu knowing masses.

At the end students also interacted with the Regional Director and Co-ordinator and asked various questions regarding the non-availability of materials, examination forms and counselling classes.
