Entering into the new millenium if we take a critical look on the entire nation in general and at our community in particular, we get a very complex and vague picture of our social scenario. Upon weighing the pros and cons of our daily educational & economical, social & cultural and religious & political aspects we can anticipate a bleak future. On one hand, unprecedented advancements in the field of arts, literature, science, technology, agriculture and industry have transformed the entire world into a technical global village, (leading to considerable increase in the possibility of enhancement in education, employment and international brotherhood), while on the other hand the materialistic and bureaucratic outlook of certain developed countries have proved quite fatal in spreading of communalism. Shrewdly the info-wave has been gradually converted into an info war by the usage of electronic media through multi-national companies.

Effortless visualization into the future brings forth a twenty-first century full of challenges. In this dark scenario there are two major challenges ahead in front of the common masses specifically the downtrodden class. The first one, which needs utmost attention, is getting a very high standard of quality education, which in turn will raise the economic and social life, standard of the common masses. This is very important in order to compete in the intense competition prevalent in the field of education, economic, social and political life standards, which has become quite high. Secondly, preservation of cultural recognition has emerged as a vital problem. Therefore, the scenario of twenty-first century is totally different and full of chaos & confusion, the thunder of which can be easily heard.

Revolution & changes in Jharkhand & Chhotanagpur are also going to take place like various places in the country. Here particularly in the area of science & technology, the progress is very fast compared to other areas in Bihar. But in this area Adivasies and other minorities are much backward. Besides, effects of communal riots, atrocities are another cause of backwardness.

In order to solve the problems discussed above there is an urgency of two-fold work to be done among the backward Muslim masses. First of all the need of the hour is to generate the education, economic and social awareness among Muslim masses and then to establish a multi-objective institution for preparing an effective, wise and dynamic leadership to make them disciplined in education and to train them for different competitive fields.

The Markaz-E-Adab-O-Science, Ranchi was established in order to achieve the above objectives and it started functioning from the 25th day of November?95 by initiating work on literature, competitive religion and career guidance areas with its limited available resources.
